Lifestyle considerations are very clearly by far the most important in avoiding e.g. AD. It can be hard to implement a healthy lifestyle for many for several reasons, but we clearly see the explosion in a whole range of lifestyle influenced disease following the uptake of the western industrialised approach.

There is a balance somewhere between promoting a healthly lifestyle and less processed foods etc. along with the many advantages of modern science and healthcare developments that now prevents or make many issues treatable that before caused all sorts of issues starting at birth and childhood.

I like the Anavex approach of seeking more fundamental explanations and treatments that are closer to the core biological problem over the symptom suppression approach that most medicines are still designed for. I'd like to see such drugs and treatments favoured and hope Blarcamesine might one of the first to go along with lifestyle considerations for all our lives before things start to go wrong.

I think, like Hoskuld did not long ago and maybe still does, that Anavex still have issues with managing their opportunity.
