Here are the two Alzheimer's indications from the January MAA list:

"Treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia"
"To slow disease progression in adult patients with Alzheimer’s disease (AD)"

Word cleaving the meaning behind them to expand the wonderfulness of the Anavex choice of words is meaningless. The two are expressing much the same thing.

One of them is approved already elsewhere and the other one is trying hard with much less data and fewer trials for a 1st approval. It may work with some non-zero chance.

Just too much unfounded speculation imo.
