Krakatoa’s antimony-gold find signals major upside

Krakatoa Resources Ltd chairman Colin Locke talked with Proactive about the company’s newly secured Zopkhito Project in Georgia, which he described as a major opportunity for investors. The project contains a JORC resource of 225,000 tonnes of high-grade antimony at 11% for 26,000 tonnes of metal, translating to a back-of-the-envelope valuation of approximately $1.30 billion based on current prices. Additionally, the project includes 7.1 million tonnes grading 3.7g/t gold for 815,000 ounces, estimated to be worth around $2.50 billion. Locke said, “This is touted to be the sixth biggest antimony project in the world.” The mineralisation is close to surface, and the company believes the resource has strong potential for expansion. He also highlighted the project’s additional gold content as another value driver. He attributed the company’s success in securing the project to its CEO and chief technical officer, Mark Major, whose experience in high-altitude exploration was a key factor for the local vendors. The project’s location in Georgia was described as highly investor-friendly, with a 15% corporate tax rate, no native title or land access complications, and strong support for foreign investment. Locke confirmed that a maiden drilling program is scheduled to begin shortly, with Major heading to Georgia next week to prepare. He emphasised the company’s past success with international projects and reassured investors of the team’s experience. Data security: archTIS lands key licensing deal

archTIS Ltd CEO and Managing Director Daniel Lai talked with Proactive about a newly signed $390,000 licensing agreement with a major Japanese multinational. The deal builds on archTIS’s acquisition of Direktiv and its integration of advanced cybersecurity technology into its Trusted Data Integration platform. Lai explained that the licensing agreement enables the Japanese company—an asset services provider with operations valued at $12.5 billion—to introduce new data-centric security services into the Japanese market. “This is just another example of that occurring, which is really exciting for the company,” Lai said, referring to archTIS’s broader international expansion strategy. He noted that the company had always planned to replicate its success with the Australian Department of Defence and local defence industrial base in overseas markets, particularly those facing geopolitical pressures. Lai also highlighted progress in the US and Europe, where trials were recently completed with a large US department and NATO in the UK. Looking ahead, he remained “quietly optimistic” about meeting financial targets by June 30 and delivering further material updates to the market. Inspired PLC CEO Mark Dickinson breaks down FY24 highlights, net zero strategy

Inspired PLC (AIM:INSE) chief executive Mark Dickinson takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company's 2024 financial results, its ongoing mission to help clients reach net zero, and the outlook for 2025. Dickinson provided an overview of the group’s four complementary divisions: software, assurance, ESG, and optimisation. These work together to help Inspired’s B2B clients manage energy costs, comply with ESG reporting obligations, and implement real carbon reduction strategies. “The backdrop continues to be increasingly favourable for Inspired as we help those clients navigate their way through those challenges,” Dickinson said, citing continuing demand despite lower energy prices. FY24 was a year focused on strengthening the balance sheet. Dickinson said the company eliminated all contingent consideration liabilities, raised capital, and reduced net leverage from 2.59x to 1.47x adjusted EBITDA—giving the business a firmer platform for growth. The company’s non-financial KPIs also moved in a positive direction, with cross-selling increasing and more than 50% of optimisation clients returning for additional services. Inspired is now serving 420 clients with optimisation support. Looking ahead, Dickinson said trading in 2025 started in line with expectations, and the business is progressing well on previously delayed projects. He remains optimistic about the pipeline and demand drivers, particularly in energy conservation, ESG compliance, and net zero support. How Beforepay’s AI model drives strong returns

Beforepay Group Ltd Finance Manager Shreya Prakash talked with Proactive about the company’s dual focus on domestic consumer lending and enterprise software through its Carrington Labs division. She explained that Beforepay’s core product—a pay advance offering—provides short-term loans with a fixed 5% fee and no hidden costs, aiming to support Australians with transparent and ethical lending. Prakash said, “The most common reason people borrow from us is not because they want to go for a vacation... but to tide them over that short-term cash flow pinch.” She highlighted that this flagship product, launched in 2020, remains central to the business and differentiates itself through its ethical model and efficient cost structure. Carrington Labs, the company’s AI and analytics arm, is productising the risk models that power Beforepay and expanding operations in the US. Prakash noted that the company is writing around 40,000 loans with just 50 staff, underlining a strong operational efficiency. Billy Cheung, also from the finance team, added that Beforepay became profitable in the first half of FY23. He reported revenue approaching A$20 million and net profit of A$2.8 million in H1 FY25. Notably, the company reduced net defaults from around 3% to just 1.1%, attributing this to improved credit risk models. Cheung also mentioned growth in personal loan offerings and continued investment into Carrington Labs.
