S.F. identifies driver killed in fiery Christmas Day crash in Golden Gate Park - Regular Driver?

A 30-year-old San Francisco man was identified as the person killed on Christmas Day in a single-vehicle crash in which the vehicle caught fire in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.

Mohammed Yahya Allawala died after his car veered off the road and hit a tree just before 4 p.m. near where Crossover Drive merges with Park Presidio Bypass, San Francisco medical examiners said.

Paramedics and firefighters arriving at the scene found the vehicle engulfed in flames. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, but the driver — who was the sole occupant — was discovered dead inside, according to San Francisco Police Department spokesperson Robert Rueca.
