Not sure what Sheriff Matt's sounding off about iHub's records being set for posting & viewing, as it seems a mention was made that iHub is now used more than Silicon Investor eventhought Si probably has a higher number of members (aka paying).
It will depend on "Its the Money..." rather than the thoughts of Bob & Matt's to determine any fork in the road that Si & iHub will travel simply because while Si & iHub now travel together on a similiar, getting more alike, pathway of code and ownership, there is no reason to prevent a seperation of ownership if that is the way the money trail forks in the road of business to take these two seperate web sites public where ownership of a majority of each are not the same folks.
Most will agree that managers & coders of web sites after the bubble pop of mid year 2000 are available a dime a dozen, but the number of managers & coders that survived with web sites are probably less than a dozen with Bob & Matt in the count, so even if Si & iHub go public, each under a different controling group, it is very likely that BobZ will be asked to guide each under a title that would situate the president of each to call him "boss".
If so, guess a new title will be created, and a new type of ownership be created where two seperate public web sites with each having their own stock symbol are under an unbrella non company type of existence, but a governing structure with BobZ employee Big Boss.
Either way, depends where the money wants to go, as in what it wants to acquire, either one or other, or both.
Ditto, either way it seems there will be a linkage always, and just maybe the following available URL should be captured.
