Father and son killed in fiery Tesla crash in Thomas County - regular driver
THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - A father and son were killed in a fiery Tesla crash, according to the Thomas County coroner.
On Dec. 23, Magarret Brion Smith, 35 and Karter Smith, 14, died in the crash when their Tesla struck a pecan tree, and became engulfed in flames.
According to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP), they were traveling north on Ga. Hwy 35, near Merrillville Rd, when Smith lost control of the vehicle, left the right side of the roadway, traveled into a pecan orchard and struck a pecan tree.
Both father and son were pronounced dead at the scene.
This article has better details on what happened. Turns out that the father and son werent wearing seatbelts and shot out the windshield upon impact. Otherwise they may have burned alive. Honeslty couldnt say which is a worse way to die but burning alive seems worse. All because this family made the mistake of putting their faith in an EV. Why is that a mistake? Because they glitch due to EM radiation and suddenly accelerate or veer off the road like this Tesla into a tree/other objects. Below is a collection of accidents just like this one.
