Crash between Visalia school bus, Tesla causes major damage
A crash between a Visalia Unified school bus and a Tesla caused major damage after the car allegedly ran a stop light on Wednesday, the Visalia Police Department said.
According to Visalia Police, the crash happened around 2:20 p.m. at the intersection of Akers Street and Ferguson Avenue in Visalia.
Images provided by Visalia Watchdog show major damage to the driver’s side of the Tesla, including a broken front axle and a shattered windshield and front window; oil on the road also suggests engine or transmission damage.
The bus fared far better; images from the scene appear to show mostly cosmetic damage to the front end of the bus.
Did this Tesla veer into the bus or maybe have enabled autonomous features that failed to see the bus? We may know more in a couple months if Musk isnt successful at getting the NHTSA reporting requirements quashed. On the 17th a solar storm ensued so this Tesla likely glitched in some way leading to the accident.
This was from last week and i hadnt posted it yet. More recently another Tesla veered into a tree burning the occupants alive and a Tesla drove head on into a SUV police vehicle. Teslas anti collision tech really sucks at accident prevention.
