HAHA--NEWBIES: Here's what I predicted for 2024: UNCANNY!!

You, OTOH, have been predicted a 'deal any day' since you got here in 2012 - yes that isn't a typo folks. Anyone who 'likes' your posts is CLUELESS.

Proto you need to stop lying to people. You've contributed to major financial losses with your constant cut and paste lies.

And so far my predictions for 2024 - made in early February - have almost all come true. I haven't been spot on simply because things take longer :I've been spot on because I recognize the hyperbole bullcrap for what it is. Here's what I wrote - with my comments in brackets:

The next 3-4 months will be shocking imo.[ [b[It was. The price plummeted for the following reasons.]

I'm 90% confident that many of the following will happen, or should I say NOT happen:

1. Re Dec 4 letter - there will be no announcement of a tech transfer with a foundry, but may be some LOI that sounds good but has no clear timeline.[Happened. No announcement, not even a LOI]

2. Early March the 10k comes out which shows at best the $50,000 in revenues from the one-off modulators using Perk agreement. That will confirm the very low demand after 9 months, which brings into question how straightforward the company was in claiming "commercial acceptance" last year.[Happened]

3. OFC will come and go without any external validation that Lightwave's polymer reliability has been proven. Andy will not confirm it, and Lightwave will not make any definitive statement that satisfies the industry.[Happened]

4. OFC will come and go without an announcement of a transceiver using Lightwave's modulator breakthrough. The transceiver company isn't ready to take that step. There may be some kind of half-prototype or "this is how it will work" display.[Happened. No transceiver announcement. There was a display of scientific achievement as stated.]

5. April will be a long month as the cumulative effect of #1-4 sinks in with shareholders and the best they hope for is a repeat of another agreement like last year. Investors will start to demand accountability with regard to Foundry work. Some long timers will become LIVID as the price drops into the 2s. Institutional selling will become a major threat..[Restless investors, price dropped happened later into the unthinkable 2s in early June. Turns out the passive institutional selling threat - mainly Russel 2000 - wasn't as great as I thought.]

6. April-May: shareholders may get an announcement from a small forward-looking photonics oriented foundry of some kind of partnership with Lightwave, but it will be very vague in details.[This exactly happened with the May 21 announcement of the small forward-looking photonics oriented foundry AMF]

7. May: There may be confirmation that GFS is testing the perkamine/Ayar combination, but without any timeline for going into production. This may happen at ASM. ASM will be a repeat of last year -same projections for the year.[ASM was worse - the projections for units were actually removed, although the company later said the timeline hadn't changed. GFS testing validation just likely happened last week as Anthyon Yu at GFS said that optical polymers are among several other materials they are looking at in their massive Fotonix initiative. Although not stated this could well be Lightwave's. No timeline, but is clear this is very complicated and still includes manual processes.]

8. June: Investors will try hard to keep a happy face through all of the above, but the market likely will reflect the realization that last year shareholders were given a lump of coal instead of a gold nugget. They will start to ask what the people in the new space are doing.[The die hards continue to pump - even resorting to an anonymous phone call someone supposedly had with a high level executive - to prop up hope that the ASM gave the wrong impression and a 'deal any day' is still alive and well. ]

9. August: Investors will anxiously await a transceiver prototype announcement that doesn't come. KCC will become "worried" but won't say so.>>[Happening. Today is Aug 20, and there still has been announcement of a transceiver prototype and no confirmation that anyone has been working to create one. KCC remains optimistic in his posts.]

10. Dec 31, 2024. Investors will claim 7900 transceivers have been shipped out with Lightwave Perk since Dr Lebby said it would happen, but none of them will really believe it. The stock will hit a 52 week low despite the fact that Jim Marcelli resigned during the year. [WAY WORSE: Nobody is claiming shipment, no evidence of even one freakin demo! And I was naive to think Marcelli would resign - rather the market was just SHOCKED because Dr Lebby was gone - and it appears under bad blood (probably with Marcelli, who has run the "show" for some 15 years now)]

Again, this isn't a matter of luck or some kind of coordinate conspiracy. The company's own words, and what they don't say - along with their proven history of missed projections is what enables me to predict fairly accurately here. I'm certain there are others who do the same but don't have any interest in posting.
