Regarding the scientific paper, it should contain the ADL mean change results, as that was co-primary. It will be interesting to see if ADL scores were relatively flat over the 48 weeks for both cohorts, justifying our assertion about the draft guidelines. It should be. If the cohorts are both clearly declining without separation, that's going to be an issue for us. Recall that MacFarlane and the company had repeatedly cited functional benefit as important. Also, the draft guidelines downplay functional benefit for early AD because it does not detectably decline. If it is in fact detectably declining during our RCT then our problem is not "a wrong endpoint choice". Our problem would be a failed viable co-primary.
