Comparably Speaking I agree with you. Thing is although severino was good last year for a middle of the rotation (3-4 Starter type) he has been injury prone. And more importantly he doesn't miss bats anymore. Now he had a solid season. But 3 for 67 is alot for him. Montas in Milwaukee was at least starting to miss bats, and to be fair to the guy I don't think Cincinatti is helpful to starting pitchers as a place to pitch. And this is the 2nd year coming off the injury generally ptichers can get stronger in the 2nd year. It is part of why I like Buehler on a 2 year deal. But they need to go out and either get a manea or fried, or Burnes, or trade for a crochet, and my concern is I don't think sterns is gonna do any of that, because I'm getting he really doesn't like giving pitchers long-term deals, not that I disagree with him, but at the same time I believe you do need an ace at some point too if your building a championship team in my opinion.
