The main objection is to your use of the phrase “standard of care”. That is not what the Dr. said. It matters, because “standard of care” is a medical term that means much more than what was implied by that commercial.
Your post implied “at least to some readers” that the ad, and the doctor were somehow endorsing Actipatch. They were not.
As has already been pointed out, Salonpas is no more a competitor with Actipatch than icyhot, bengay, tiger balm etc…
If you want to cite numbers from the otc pain market, why not cut to the chase and use aspirin or ibuprofen revenues.
The ad you referenced contributes nothing to the discussion of our investment in BIEL. It was just more noise.
That is what I meant by misrepresenting the ad.
