I agree. Sarcasm on a computer is often very hard to discern and can very often mislead. Whereas in person, it is usually easy to read and quite clear (most of the time). Tone of voice, body language, facial expression, rolling eyes, smile, waving hands, nod of the head, finger expressions etc. add many clues that people usually read very well that are simply not possible over the computer most of the time (perhaps a well placed emogee, but not most of the time).
