I'm a T1D, not T2D, and have been prescribed Vascepa since late 2012. Prescription was filled in March or April 2013, and I'm still alive having seen no hospital, even for a CVD event. At a time, ~ 2016, I had a closetful of Burberry suits that I wore for attendance at District Court and Fed. Cir. hearings that no longer fit me because I had experienced weight loss. I recall that weight loss had become considerable by 2016, forcing a wardrobe adjustment in shoulder, waist circumference and pants leg length. About 8-10 of those suits still have residence in my closet. I believe I published details here of the above scenario as early as 2016; I recall whalatane(kiwi) and others read/published reading my publications, and my wife certainly can attest to my weight loss, ~ 30-35 lbs. I now weigh 145-150 lbs, my high school and college weight, 1951-1959.
