Those warrants are attached to 20.1% (our shares), so how do you sell them? If they offer the warrants at say $40 a share, how do they do that without causing our 20.1% from going to $40. The warrants are not a separate entity from the whole. There are no ther commons than what exist that we all hold, so someone explain how governement gets rich off of a warrant buy and sale without dragging the rest of us 20.1 percenters with them?
They created the seniors way back, but from my knowledge, there is no other class of commons. The warrants are nothing but collateral also, and I think any common sense judge would see that to, if the shareholders needed to stop any exercising of them.
They will do something with the seniors, in my view. Maybe forgive most but keep a controlling majority (51%) so they can dictate dividends and such, which would be their commitment fee for protecting and back stopping. That woud obviously have a negative impact though on both commons and prefs, government involvement will keep many investors away. This is only if they refuse to completely release and cut all government ties. If they do completely release and cut ties there will be way more of a push to monetize something, some way for the government. To get the government out completely, we may get blackmailed some way, but I don't think it's with warrants. JMHO
