I can just identify with that lake living. My lake is down the street, but I am out on the peninsula. I just cannot afford being on the lake anymore. The taxes down the street are so much higher, but so are those beautiful 5-million-dollar homes.
I am not complaining, for 13 years I did live on the Queen of American Lakes, Lake George, New York. Even had my father's old century boat. I was proud of myself for keeping his boat running after he passed away, did for 10 more years. But then good boats can last a long time, you just have to keep up with that maintenance.
