So now the new narrative is that a UK approval would not attract patients far away i.e. U.S. for the huge out of pocket cost? Really? We're not talking about teenage acne problems. You're dead in 9 months typically, and that includes acute suffering along the way. Maybe you would personally opt for SOC, but faced with eminent death, most people take desperate measures for a chance to live.

It's not a new narrative, it's an existing narrative that has already been proven true.

DCVax-L has been available as a treatment, commercially, in the UK for over a year now.

Why aren't GBM patients flooding in from all around the globe to receive treatment? Why isn't NWBO reporting sold out manufacturing revenue? You think just because it isn't approved, potential patients don't know about it?

If you get diagnosed with GBM, the first thing you are doing is googling for trials and treatment options. The average Joe doesn't have a clue what DCVax is, but it isn't hard to find if you're looking for it with purpose.

This is a wildly selfish perspective. I imagine for a strong majority of people, pulling the trigger on wiping out for what a lot of people is your life savings and ruining your family's financial future while putting your loved ones in a huge bind with potential lifelong stress implications for an mOS gain of a few months is not as easy a decision as you are making it out to be. If it was a cure? Sure. But as much as we want it to be, right now it simply isn't that.
