I think it’s simple. Reimbursement and funding are different.

LP made very clear they still have to do a global economic model in order to make a reimbursement request through the NICE STA process. It’s not easy but she hoped the whole process might be completed within 12 or less months (I assume she was including decision in that time frame.)

Meanwhile, if you can’t put your global economic model immediately together because you are awaiting some data (perhaps from compassionate program), it may be they could pursue alternative “funding” like the CDF, while they await the ability to assimilate a global economic model which would allow them to request “reimbursement.” IMHO.

Funding is different than reimbursement. Hopefully they are pursuing this.
