That's surprising and good to hear that it wasn't Marcelli.

May have to rethink my sale now. Was pretty sure it was since he usually is the source of these kinds of things.

IF it was IR - that's just as bad though. They may have said Lightwave is working hard to close a deal before year end (after being asked) and that attorneys are going back and forth -- which wouldn't be good enough for me. Again, it was notes from a phone call - which surely should not have revealed that a deal is done and it's just down to signatures -- as that would be a SEC violation, so there's uncertainty as to what was really said and what wasn't.

The volume WAS surprising so I'll look for it to continue .. could have been related to the photonic fundings and some large investor or hedge fund who believes in photonics in general -- plus there was that hedge fund article touting Lightwave, so maybe a combination of factors was involved.
