Note, in particular, that a PharmD degree is an undergraduate degree. It's not even in the same league as a medical degree.
This quote mirrors my experience with pharmacists, of which I know a few:
A pharmacist has a PharmD degree but cannot legally practice medicine. Most pharmacists introduce themselves by their first names, although they can use the prefix, Dr.
I'm not criticizing or insulting pharmacists. The ones I know are fine intelligent people. They don't put on airs by introducing themselves as "Doctor" but I understand why they would use the title on a resume or on LinkedIn.
