Gary, I have to agree that the 50's, especially the latter half of the decade were noted for noticeably different body styles. There were changes to the engines, transmissions too, but the emphasis (at least on the sales end) was on the buyer being the first with the fresh new styling. But even assuming there were no significant changes to the "guts", there's a significant difference between your auto analogy and EDEN. With the auto, regardless of changes to styling or the internals, the car makers managed to produce new models every year that you could drive. With EDEN, we're still waiting for a working model. I know the technology is not the same, but I have to wonder at the 5-year mark, did Powers buy a working technology or the concept of a technology yet to be proven?
