It’s impossible to predict the market response and certainly low calling it ahead of time is a common thing for shorts.

In 2020, without a lot of news that would necessarily, immediately bring in income or cause immediate commercialization, just in finalizing the trial and buying Flaskworks out, the company went from the low .30s to $1.98 and $2.51 on an intraday trading basis. Stocks are Ben sometimes crash on incredibly good news, and a lot of that depends on a variety of factors including the freedom of manipulators to manipulate.

I imagine that regulators will watch and respond if this is approved and the spoofers continue to spoof. But as I said, markets are dynamic. One thing I do know, on approval, other drug companies will view this differently. Opportunities for collaboration and combinations should mushroom. And if I were a short, holding on and trying not to have a tax event or pay back borrowed funds on an appreciated short position, I’d contemplate that all the value could be lost and an unfortunate margin call might be around the corner.
