It is more unfair, not to have a starter for game 1 don't you think with no bullpen in a best two out of three. Why should the padres and brewers benefit from this, that is far more unfair. And the brewers will have a day off on monday, and so will the padres, so there pitching should be fine, and they will be home for 3 because of the rules how much more advantage do the need, the system allready gives them an advantage of best of 3 with all at home. No other round do you get all the games at home.
There is no mess with all of this situation either force them to play both games but move the series to wednesday. Why Should the brewers and padres benefit from practically and unfair situation. Oh poor padres and brewers afraid to lose a series with it being partially fair. I don't consider fair a team playing a DH with an entirely used bullpen, and nostarters in a best 2/3 fair. That is basically like your gifting them the series. The mets were there monday. The braves didn't want to play a DH on Tuesday. Heard something about how they share parking with an office building and if they don't give and advanced warning, they can't book a day game. Don't know how true that it is, but that is what I heard of why they couldn't play a DH tuesday, So that is on the braves for having that. Mets couldn't know there was a storm 5 months in advance so no blames goes there, and I would guess they were in atlanta on monday, but never tried to play than. So wasn't the mets fault. As much as you want it too be.
The end result is seeding doesn't matter, whether your 5 or 6 your playing on the road, all that matter are your in/out. Whether you go to SDP and MIL. What matter is not having a SP for a game, now that matter with no bullpen. They allready won enough games thank you if it is seeding they are in, so if they made the playoff allready they won enough games sorry. If you want them to play you move it to wednesday being game 1. Personally I think this series should be played on Wednesday. That is fair. But give me a break on the brewers and padres being hurt the new rules allready give them advantages because in the first round you get all 3 at home isn't that enough, yeah sure I would like it too if my opponent had no starting pitchers and no bullpens, doesn't mean that is fair, good way for the brewers to win a series though notice this article doesn't say anything about the padres. And if the 5 and 6 did make to the NLCS which is very unlikely, I think the mets and braves would agree they don't care, they rather have an intact pitching staff to get there. It is not like the seeding negative effect anyone else home filed advantage, it would only affect the mets in this case, and the braves and trust me both teams would agree in an instant to have there pitching staffs intact going into the 1rst round. Sorry but this was perhaps one of the most flawed articles, did this come from ta brewers fan. In what world have you ever seen a DH played into a playoff game the next day with no starting pitcher. Never. because there is no competitive balance in that situation in my opinion.
