The Mets would likely not have been keen to move Thursday’s game up to this past Monday, another shared off day between the two clubs, as they were coming off a Sunday night game.

Did they ever ask. It doesn't sound like it. There is a big difference between a team taking a off day that they are not in atlanta to come down and play and travel miles and miles out of there way to get on a plane and go mies and miles in a different direction. they were allready there monday. It sounds like baseball stupidly didn't ask them. And they would say well what has changed you didn't want to play on a off day before. Here's the big one they were allready in atlanta in my opinion.
