Of course they did that, it made sense, they couldn't of known a hurricane was gonna happen in april in late september. Baseball could of moved it by sunday (It was known about than), but of course a logistical nightmare of booking plane tickets and hotels would almost be an impossible task. The real reason they didn't want to move it is because of $$$$$$$. Furthermore they were in atlanta monday, why didn't they play than and a DH tuesday, or at least a DH on tuesday. The real blame goes to baseball, not the mets. In what world are sports teams suppose to be weather forecaster 5 months plus in advance, when baseball until 5 pm on wednesday thought they were gonna get a game in they have 0 chance to get in. They can still fix the problem, there is an off day on friday before the next series just move the games back a day, and competitive balance is saved. It is really that simple. They can still fix this but will baseball will, we will here once again about the impossible logistical nightmare, like they were trying to find the cure for cancer or something. But if you want to blame the mets for not knowing on april 10th that the game was gonna be impacted by hurricane in september go ahead I guess. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
