It is insane to think if those games matter neither the braves nor the mets will actually have pitcher on tuesday and baseball thinks that is okay for some reason when there is a day off friday. I rather have no days off going into the next series, than be a team without any starters on regular rest. Look you don't get the choice of a starter if you need those games. too bad. And I say that as a mets fan. Who ever is available should be ready, but it is unfair to think you should play a game the next day where you have to say travel accross the country, after traveling the day before to get to that destination to play a DH, blow out your bullpen during such DH, and have no starters which is very possible to play the best out of 2/3 that is completely unfair, your basically begging the other team to win. To be fair even if one team does have a sp ready, they are still in a world of trouble because the whole team still had to play for the most part and you used the bullpn. don't ever remembering a DH right before a playoff game that is an insane stratgy. which begs the question if they were so in love with the idea that it had to stay in atlanta. Then play on this past Monday, Play a DH on tuesday, this hurricane was known for a week or more, push the nl wc games back, but of course baseball does what baseball does, make problems that are easily avoidable, I think they are hoping that these games don't matter, but hope is not a strategy, because most likely they will in some way. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
