First off i said Autopilot. Secondly i didnt imply that FSD or autopilot was entirely based on GPS. Something is going wrong in Teslas that makes the vehicles think they are out of position like what was described below. Thus GPS is the likely culprit. That doesnt mean it is.

Here is the best description of this sudden veering ive seen to date:
