My first gut reaction to the news was... more lawsuits? But Emil and Rich have been off the charts excited / giddy, according to SEVERAL of my fellow shareholders who've been able to reach him. I thought Emil was ready to be DONE with this ride... why would they file more lawsuits? Didn't make sense...
Until I learned that 1) anti-trust lawsuits are usually handled pretty quickly and 2) these lawsuits are unprecedented and should make quite a stir, if enough eyeballs read about them. Like DB said... more eyeballs to the party.
Did anyone notice that this Board has moved up to # 12 on the most-read list? Keep it up Longs! Get the word out! I just told a table of older gentlmen at the restaurant this morning about VPLM. They all wrote it down and headed off to check it out.
I don't think this is JUST about eyeballs on the stock. It appears to be the big guns we've needed to force the infringers to the table. THIS is what the goal is.... not just another lawsuit.
And by the way... the anti-trust lawsuit is not only suiing the big Telecoms, but their individual Directors as well. Wonder if that might get the attention of some of those Directors as to what's been going on with this little mosquito Voip-Pal that's been costing them so much to battle these past 10 years and just won't leave them alone?
And the Class Action lawsuit is suggesting a remedy of $12/month for 5 years for each of the 373 million cell phone users, for a total of $268.56 BILLION dollars. Wonder if that might get their attention as well.
Wonder what the damages would come to for the anti-trust on TOP of that
