Longs to be rewarded soon?

I have read this many times and I am reading that there is something happening behind the scenes. I really hope this is true and something happens that is great for everyone involved. I have a couple million shares and am hoping for a positive outcome. But hope is not a great investment strategy. A settlement of all the cases that resulted in $.25 to $.50 would be life changing for many.

I have heard this from DB and others for over a year that I have been in this stock. I try to remain upbeat that something positive will result from this long fight. The fact that every time a trial gets close it gets resolved in a negative way doesn't not provide a lot of confidence.
Last week DB said something positive would happen that week. I am hoping the resolution of whatever is happening behind the scenes is just a little behind schedule. Agreements between companies have to be reviewed by all parties and the legal departments. This normally results in several iteration of the documents.

I am not saying there is a settlement coming. I put the odds of this happening at less than 10%. But that is me. I am not going to get excited thinking a settlement is near. I just know how big companies work. These companies have unlimited funds to fight and a legal staff that is large and talented. To get a buyout or other type of resolution is very difficult because there are many defendants to deal with.

I would put the odds of a settlement much higher if the insiders were holding their shares. Williams and Chang have sold around 5 million shares a quarter. Barbara had 322 million shares, lost 50 million through the lawsuit early this year and has sold 195M. She currently has around 77.5M shares remaining and sells around 1.1M a week. At that pace she will have no shares by the end of 2025. That doesn't instill confidence.

So let's see what happens. Will hope something happens soon and rewards long term investors. But I am not going to raise my expectations. I will expect nothing and Hope for something positive. Good luck everyone.
