See how NVIDIA is delaying shipments of its Blackwell GB 200A due to reliability issues. Heat dissipation and excessive power requirements ( 6 times normal rack power requirement) driven by its complex designs .
It’s an interesting observation that NVIDIA, TSMC and not to forget Intel seem all to run into reliability issues because they ‘ push the envelope ‘ too far. Exactly as Michael Lebby predicted at the ASM. Yes they continue to milk their incumbent technology and products, can’t get higher bandwidth than 400G and pay the price in higher power consumption and reduced reliability.
