Since I'm guilty of the same crime, I figure I should weigh in here too. Your point is well taken. Amarin by far is my biggest holding and, incredibly, I've only added to my share count in my for-profit account as the price has plunged so that I could lower my average purchase price because I have faith that Amarin -- with its cash pile -- has a long enough runway to eventually make those of us who averaged down some decent coin. But I do take much smaller positions in some other bios because I do enjoy the thrill when they take off, even when it only happens for a day or two. And I like the idea that I'm investing in something that really might help save lives.
