Yesterday i discovered a neglected piece of pumpkin in the fridge. You know how the outside of it gets ucky, i cut that off then noticed most all of the rest was soft. Thought, oh no, surely not all wasted, smelled it and it was fine so decided to have a first stab at pumpkin soup. Had a look online at a recipe, chopped up onion and garlic, then while out i bought some stock and mixed herbs. Don't have a blender so may be not as smooth as it could be but am sure it'll be ok. Oh, almost forgot - one of the first things i saw on walking into the Woolworths was large cans of pumpkin soup on sale. Bought two so i can see how much better mine is than theirs.
