if you could say anything about Venezuela you wanted to here. Can't think of any reason except some baseless imagining in your own mind. Surely you wouldn't consider we deliberately avoid stuff which in some people's minds may reflect poorly on our positions. Sheesh, that's more a conservative trait i'd suggest, would think you would know that. Anyway, you should never again think whatever you were thinking when you said what you said there, not about any political figure .. anywhere.

conix -- Chavez was a corrupt chump, then Maduro far worse -- hardly any favorites of ours; not just the corruption but even more cuz we're not into authoritarians regardless of (attemptedly) legitimating ideology -- and at least note things there were able to change course via an election
P - before Chavez, Venezuela had quite the history of such governance under hard-right types/ideology -- hopefully this new government will not revert to anything like that and move things forward into a more genuinely democratic and rule of law future

Trump’s attack makes as much sense as suggesting that the Democratic Party is made up of Kim Jong Un loyalists because the official name of North Korea is the “Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.”

Yeah... transparency. You can tell by all those blistering exposes the great journalist Assange has written about the Putin "administration". Or about Trump for that matter. I really admire the way he's gone after Orban and Lukashenko. He really takes it to Maduro too, eh? He's just a tower of fearless journalistic integrity.
