Chafetz added that the fact that Harris’s parents are immigrants is “wholly irrelevant.”

And he's right. Why would the Republicans even be talking about this, given that the same is the case for JD Vance's wife and her parents? Not to mention that four of Trump's five kids are the children of one recent immigrant.
