The $10 million (maximum option to invest in the JV) had NOTHING to do with the $100 million that Maxim had committed to raise for the merger. XERI only invested as much as XTI needed ($5.4 million) to complete the PDR. XERI was never obligated to invest any more -- and we should all be glad they didn't.
