I could accept three years and bet everyone else here could too. But a public biotech taking in hundreds of millions of investor dollars just to run one single lousy nebulous trial off already existing trials, and while taking twenty years to do so, and while going dark for years at a clip with an agoraphobic CEO CFO only to occasionally PR new employees who disappears soon after, that's not development. At least not of the many I've ever been in.

Biotechs very typically spend over $1,000,000,000 getting just a single indication drug to market and immunotherapies have taken 10-20+ years on average to develop to the point of marketing.
