Hawk, a few years ago I had lots of shares of a small medical mfg. firm & my shares did not move much & one day I turned on my computer & could not locate the company I was invested in - so I called Scottrade & said what is going on & I was told Tanecka of Japan had bought out the company & my account would be accrediated with -what became a woderful $$$$$$$$$$ shocking surprise..True story.
