This is possibly the worst analysis possible. You’ve got it exactly backwards. The shorts already lost. Their thesis is destroyed. Cohen can do whatever he wants now, including buying out the leases and going 100% virtual, etc. They have intense brand loyalty and without the brick and mortar expenses they will be cranking out earnings and cash flow.

And the best part is, the shorts, after all this, are still largely trapped. So he will probably raise even more money.
