Oh the irony! Yes, and then proceed to continue on with the “discussion” about shorting, which you consider to be ^^ “pretty pointless”! Surprising coming from such a highly intelligent person as you.

Listen JN, I care not about how you interpret my remarks about shorting, because inasmuch that I’ve made the point that one need look at the “whole picture” over a long timeline, I find you lacking in that area when it comes to BIEL. No, the enemy of my enemy is now my friend will not apply in this case.

I’ve found much value in srin’s posts showing great breadth and depth over time. I simply disagree on the value of the shorting discussion. In fact, I find it counterproductive, and to a great degree.
