Fine, swap in another name for Pfizer. Why would [insert pharma name here] "have exclusive rights to the device" if they bought, or merged with, BIEL? The device is not patent protected. IF/WHEN a market ever developed for the device, competitors will flood in. The Chinese manufacturer will sell the device to anyone. They'll put anyone's logo on the device.

And you said that something will "stop doctors from prescribing painkillers." The NOPAIN Act won't do that. So what is going to stop doctors from prescribing painkillers, and when is this going to happen?
