Reconnaissance Energy Africa provides drilling update on Prospect I in Namibia

Reconnaissance Energy Africa CEO Brian Reinsborough joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share a drilling update on Prospect I, located onshore Namibia within Petroleum Exploration Licence 073. Prospect I represents the company’s largest exploration target to date. It is estimated to hold approximately 365 million barrels of unrisked and 32 million barrels of risked prospective light to medium oil resources, or alternatively, 1.9 trillion cubic feet of unrisked and 140 billion cubic feet of risked prospective natural gas resources, based on a 100% working interest. Reinsborough reported that pre-construction activities are progressing on schedule and that pre-drill evaluations have been successfully completed. Drilling is planned to reach a target depth of 3,800 metres, with the flexibility to drill deeper depending on subsurface conditions—similar to the company’s approach with the Naingopo exploration well. The Otavi geological section is anticipated to range between 1,500 and 1,800 metres in thickness, depending on total drilling depth. Insights gained from the Naingopo well have significantly enhanced ReconAfrica’s understanding of the Damara Fold Belt, particularly regarding time-depth migration and structural interpretation of the Mulden and Otavi formations. This same reservoir zone at Naingopo exhibited more than 50 metres of reservoir-quality carbonates and oil shows, underscoring its potential. hVIVO CEO on record FY24 revenue & EBITDA as expansion strategy pays off

hVIVO PLC chief executive Yamin ‘Mo’ Khan takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company’s record-breaking financial performance in 2024, operational milestones and strategic outlook. hVIVO reported a 12% rise in revenue to just under £63 million, with an EBITDA margin of 26%. Khan highlighted this as a record margin for the company. He noted that, even excluding a one-off facility fee, the margin remained strong at 23%. The company also ended the year with £44 million in cash. Khan explained: “This is all been based on a record number of inoculations… we ran nine challenge trials and our largest field study to date.” He emphasised the company’s transformation, with a move to a purpose-built 50-bed human challenge facility in Canary Wharf, improvements in operational efficiency, and a major expansion of lab and outpatient capacity. Looking ahead, hVIVO is targeting £73 million in revenue for 2025, of which £70 million is already contracted. HIVE Digital Technologies begins mining at new 200MW Paraguay facility, mines 108 BTC in March

Hive Digital Technologies Executive Chairman Frank Holmes joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share a major operational milestone and the company’s March 2025 production results. HIVE has officially begun mining operations at its new 200-megawatt hydro-powered facility in Yguazú, Paraguay. Phase 1 of the site is now energized and operating at an initial production rate of 100 Petahash. The site is expected to scale steadily in the coming months with additional mining capacity set to be deployed in phases. Holmes also announced that HIVE mined 108 Bitcoin during the month of March, increasing the company’s HODL balance to 2,201 BTC, valued at approximately $180 million based on a Bitcoin price of $82,000 as of March 31, 2025. The company saw an average hashrate of 6.3 Exahash per second, fleet efficiency of 20.7 joules per terahash, peak BTC-only hashrate of 6.2 EH/s and BTC-equivalent hashrate of 6.4 EH/s.
