I've stated on THIS investment forum on numerous occasions that 'scams' often have viable products. Now we want to change the word 'scam' and add another word to the dictionary. Fwiw, if people feel like doing the homework, they will find that Cwrn really did have iron ore that for the longest time was basically worthless....until it wasn't. Suddenly Bob Cotton CEO sold millions worth.

Lpih, a company in China, HAD apparently a viable business until it wasn't. After that they tried to tell everyone things were just fine, even though the railway tracks they supposedly used were covered with vegetation. No problem! Their bi-lingual American CFO, Michael Toups, even supposedly purchased a bunch of shares as a vote of confidence (turned out it was an orchestrated buy paid for by the company unbeknownst to the public). Later when EVEN China broadcasted the scam, one guy on the forum 'honest engine' said I WAS nuts for calling the company out for what it truly was. In any event Toups got a slap on the wrist for his part and may still be a CFO somewhere (btw, his dad was a crook too).

I could go on with Ttrif, Erhe (which had some sort of drilling rights) etc, but one thing they all had and have in common: a defender that simply cannot accept the fact that their company scammed them.
