Great. Andy B from Arista (check his news today LOL) just finished a presentation moments ago and the need for better modulators was on his top list of action points. He also said the overall ecosystem will be ready for high volume production of 200G per lane by 2026.
The unit counts are projected to be many, many, many millions of units.
And who just announced 200G per lane modulators manufactured ON a 200mm wafer? A wafer which we now know can be poled at the foundry in high volume…..
