You need to read more carefully. Yes they get wafers from foundries, but what’s on those wafers? What kind of modulators?

We know they make modulators in house. It is quite feasible that the modulators they tested were modulators that they made in house and were not fabricated on the wafers that they got back from the foundry. They can say that the testing was “based on” the foundry modulators using some sort of reasoning, but it doesn’t mean that they were performed on those same modulators. An IR would not dispute that. All they would say is that the testing was on “physical modulators”.

This only makes sense because they are only planning, the 10k says “currently developing” for four channel 200 in the house. The wafers they got back from the foundries don’t have modulators with that capability. Now it takes a bit of spin to interpret yesterday’s PR that way, but that’s how I’m going to interpret it.

No wonder the price is down. More games as usual from the company Imo
