"announces it has now taken possession of its new recombinant spider silk production center in Lam Dong Province"
if it was only going to be a warehouse and distribution center, why would they call it a production center if they have no intentions of producing there?...if they dont intend to produce Bam1 there then what kind of production will be done there?...
ill say it is not 100% clear, but it it really has nothing to do with whether or not there is mass production happening currently...
from Jan 22 pr:
"Kraig Labs is currently in the process of ramping up production trials of its recombinant spider silk under the trademark Dragon SilkTM. The move to ramp up production follows on the heels of the Company’s successful early production test announced in December."
Dragon silk...not Bam1...they have been ramping up since the 25 kilos in December...
"and because we will have control of that limited supply of Dragon Silk, it makes sense for us to focus on markets where we can control the end use of the Dragon Silk"
from Dec 22 pr:
"While our core focus remains on the immediate commercialization of existing spider silk technologies"
in a recent article kim is quoted as saying: " “We're ramping up dragon silk and something else we call monster silk. Those will be the first big commercial products that will reach tens of metric tons of production.”...
it sure doesnt sound to me like is sitting around waiting around on Bam1 to be the fiber that will be massed produced...i mean Monster Silk?...
"Over time, I expect KBLB will announce further production agreements with silkworm farms in Lam Dong."
no doubt...
"GSS will have all the production capacity KBLB can support for a considerable period of time."
i dont think so...Prodigy had the capacity to produce 30 or 40 tons of spider silk but will now only produce eggs...thats A LOT of eggs that can be produced...
"GSS will begin to use the new BAM 1 hybrids as soon as they are ready"
sure...maybe...but CLEARLY GSS is not sitting idle while waiting for Bam1...
"Sorry to throw a brace of cold reality on your fantasy bubble."
you havent...i deal in reality...
" KBLB is planning for future growth and moving pieces into place to support that."
absolutely...but you picture them sitting around waiting for that to happen...i think you are wrong...
"But scaling up will take much of 2024"
for Bam1, yes...but for DS, that scaling up has been taking place for months...
"not a lot of selling will happen"
lol...
