KCC isn't that stupid. He KNOWS the sticky is full of damning points against the credibility of the company. And although I appreciate his willingness to educate all of us here, I won't stand for being mislabeled and for his gross mischaracterizing of the Sticky post.
KCC and his family own a ton of shares. He has said so. He has a very strong vested interest in seeing this succeed.
KCC is a self-admitted optimist who said he will give them "as long as it takes" although if no prototype is seen by this August 2024 he will "start to get worried".
He understands this is complicated and things take longer than expected. But he has to be very careful to walk a tightrope regarding how he communicates the rate of progress to his fellow shareholders. I think he knows that if he shares everything he knows and thinks- that some will lose patience. He's not all roses so I give him credit for that, but sometimes the dreamers miss it..as they have to read between the lines, which is something they are pretty great at doing when it matches the fantasy, but pretty terrible at when it doesn't..
He says he is "OK" with the many missed goals under Dr Lebby because he thinks they are for the most part on track, though perhaps 6-12 months behind the original plan, and because he buys into the need to be extra quiet for competitive reasons narrative Dr Lebby polished up after the ASM before he got to Belgium. He occasionally gets mad and sends stern letters to management but he retains faith that they are acting in good faith - somehow. Hope is a powerful thing.
He buys into the idea that this is so secret only he and a few other gifted individuals can see it. He relies on dot connecting and any positive info to help support his own conclusions re their likelihood of being the Holy Grail.
While part of him still buys into the conspiracy thinking about shorts and institutions, I think he's softened on that some (maybe wishful thinking on my part). which should spur him further to push for some kind of external validation. It appears he's willing to wait it out for that big announcement. I have to assume that's because the status really is highly questionable and he knows nobody - not even Andy - is willing to go out on a limb yet.
