Did you know pickled pigs feet and head cheese are considered "peasant" foods? It includes chili of all things.

My Mom used to make the best borscht, BTW...

And look at the subcategories... pizza is included.

Traditional regional or ethnic dishes made from accessible ingredients and enjoyed by poorer people.
