SHMP has a bad business model, bad technology, bad management, bad execution. Mostly it was an idea that was not based on facts and never penciled financially. NO ONE in the USA can produce shrimp profitably for mass market inland of the ocean. There are to many technical issues that result in huge costs to try and overcome. Meaning the P&L never gets out of red. Interesting idea, but like back yard nuclear reactors not all ideas are feasible.
