Not gonna happen unless they spend a ton in 2025. They have built nothing this year. They hope vientos/ Baty work out, but lets face it even there development plan took a major hit when maurcio went down. I'm not overly high on baty think he has a huge hole in his swing that probably won't be corrected, and he rarely hits anything hard. And of course he will take time away from Vientos the bat I want to see, because for some reason this gm who loves defense, will be playing Joey Wendle at 3b, and telling us this is a year of development at some point. What development I ask?

Instead I am gonna have to watch bader everyday, to be fair that is while he plays. My guess is he gets hurt and misses 60-80 games this year. What a waste of spending that was. One of my least favorite players are defensive OF who can't hit, and worse when they are never healthy. Bader fits that criteria perfectly. I still believe there is a decent shot, that both Bader and Marte start the year on the IL. Time will tell. If Bader is not playing, though there is a plus to that we get to see what stewart is, which I have far more interest than watch bader has a 250 obp, and not hit. Time will tell. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
