KCC, you are misrepresenting them by saying they were "blah blah blah". I'll pick 2014 - randomly:

Our cash requirements are expected to increase at a rate consistent with the Company’s path to revenue growth as we expand our activities and operations with the objective of commercializing our electro-optic polymer technology during 2014.

Boilerplate language? NO. Not for a developmental stage company that has no chance of commercializing to any degree for another 10 years. Saying that EVERY YEAR from 2008 to 2016 while SUCKING money out of the hands of retailers is CRIMINAL, IMO, certainly unethical-looking and at the very least totally sloppy and deserving of obtaining a poor reputation in the investment community and within the industry..It should NEVER be given a pass as you are doing here.

Microchips pointed out that quite a few people DIED during the last 10 years. Tell their families that it was just "bolierplate language". You know as well as I that shareholders had this expectation not just from the filings but from press release after press release, conversations with management, shareholder letters, etc...Steve Sheitz was going to sell at the end of 2017 I think it was if there weren't revenues by then..that's 6 years ago!

2. I don't care about WHY when it comes to management credibility. It's really just a formula: The more you do what you say you'll do the higher your crediblity goes. The less you do what you say you will do the lower your crediblity goes. It's not complicated.

3. Again, NAMING the foundry was a goal. NOW they lead us to think it will not happen. That is not good for managements reputation.

4. He DID misrepresent, the way I read it. I've never harped on it - but my recollection is that he fudged the words from the prior year to make it sound like they met their goals. Why didn't he take the exact same slide from the prior year? Well, IMO because it would have been more obvious how little they had accomplished.
