Yeah, an equal number of short shares to long shares for any tute doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe 1 share short/hedge for every 2 shares long does. They believe the story here, but want some protection. As for the daily-type shorting, we've seen it a lot--They drive the price down near/at the open, and it'll sit there. It doesn't take many shares to do it with the low overall volume. Even the "little" shorts can accomplish that...Can't wait to see what happens on a good announcement day where massive volume occurs.
